Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati Jayanti
Swami Dayananda Saraswati (1824–1883) was a famous Indian social reformer and founder of the Arya Samaj. Born as Mool Shankar in Gujarat, he gave up his comfortable life at a young age to become a monk and search for religious truth.
